I'm the first to admit I'm technology challenged. Is there a way to insert a .jpg into a post ?

It has to be hosted somewhere on the web already, like photobucket, a personal web page, etc. Then you hit tie Img button, insert the link and hit the image button again.

It should end up looking like

[img**] link to your picture [/img**]

without the **'s. I needed them so you didn't just see a red X.

I prefer www.photobucket.com it is free and simple to use

And the URL to the website photo you want to insert has to end in .jpg or some similar image extension.

Thanks to all for the instructions. I'll give photbucket a try. Free is good.
