Ok,
A td manifold is a minor pain in the ass for me to get. Mainly, I don't want to pay $100+ for one, used. I have a mig, access to a plasma cutter to cut a turbo flange and a flange to bolt up to the head, etc. Will a 'log' style manifold, made from mild steel 'weld els' hold up to the heat of a diesel, or not? What about stainless? Or do both not stand up to the heat?
Thanks.
Stainless is better for heat
Wow, that intake mani looks really cool. You're making a log style exhaust manifold, too?
