FS: Quantum TD intake manifold

I've had this sitting around for a while and I can't think of any reason for needing it in the near future so it's up for sale:

As you can see someone started some sanding or whatever on the back but it doesn't affect anything and I doubt you could even see it once it's installed. I'm asking for $40 obo.

I am told I need a AHU style trubo and exhaust manifold. I am swapping a AAZ motor into a Mazda RX7 but have clearance issues on the right side strut tower. The AHU style turbo is said to give me more clearance.

Will this manifold work with the AHU set up and if so what is the difficulty in plumbing it?

thanks

lewis

Well, this is an intake manifold from a 1.6TD so it has the round intake ports, not the D-shaped ports. You could probably port it to match.

It's difficult for me to answer your plumbing questions though considering I have no idea how things would fit in an RX-7.

Would this clear the EGR port on a TDI exhaust manifold? Also, why is there two inlets on it. I'm trying to put a vnt-15 on a 1.6 and I was going to use a gasser intake but it hits the egr port and vacuum actuator. Thanks
'82 Rabbit, I put on a euro vnt-15, 2.25" DP, 2.5" exhaust, the result.....it whistled.

I removed the turbo, made a toilet bowl 2.5" DP, the result....it was deafening. Now it has a homemade muffler up front and a thrush in the rear, the result.....less loud.
