Ahhh, maybe THAT'S why I had all those leftover vacuum connections after my engine swap...
It's obviously not hurting anything not being installed
Come to think of it...
On my 1.6 NA inj pump, I had some type of connection on the side of the injection pump (not the stop solenoid) that had an electrical connection. On my 1.6 TD inj pump, it didn't have that connection. Is that the altitude compensation connection?
I can't think of any other way it would influcence the fuel delivery. My inj pump only has the timing belt, stop solenoid, cold handle, and throttle connected to it.
