worth while mod for sure!! not doing nothing else other than bigger turbo as the cars great!!
a highly recommended mod for sure!!!!!!

With that much smoke, your probably generating some high EGTs.
Might want to back off till you have less smoke, until you can get a EGT measurement, pre turbo.

ya pretty snug, not like a press fit or anything but there didnt seem t be a hole lot of play....i used the spring and pin from 1.6 not just pin...
did you use both as well??? i am running just a smaller turbo right now are u as well or have you switch to T3 or K24
i am really happpy with the results though.....way better then before! not to see what my gas milage will be!!! its so small and spools so fast even when im on higheway my gauge says like 8-9 PSI!! so i hope it doesnt keep dumping in fuel!!!!!

Ok james... because over here they want us to leave the seal on the fuelling screw on so if it smokes to much i wouldn't be able to adjust it back down again and fail MOT/VRT...

Oops, re-read your post. When you wrote "couldnt see nowthing" I interprited as a huge cloud of black smoke. If you not seeing smoke while driving, you probably O.K.

I just modified my 1.9TD boost pin....took it to a grinder and then polished it. I took it down to maybe a 45 degree angle and almost half way into the pin itself, and there is a difference....especially after about 2.5K rpms....it actually pulls stronger in those rpms then anywhere else!!!! I have a second pin that I plan on getting a even more aggresive cut!!!!

wouldnt your fuel shut off pretty close to that???i notice mine pulls better in lower RPM but i do have the quick spoolin turbo so maybe thats it after 2500 it just revs dont really feel much power so hoping once i get that other turbo on she will pull nice and hard!!

I have a T3 turbo on my car with a blocked wastegate! Its running about 18psi. Takes a while for it to spool especially with the stock exhaust.....I plan on making a free flowing one this summer.
as for power there is about nothing from 1000 to 2000 then it slowely starts making power and at 2500 it really takes off!!!
I have the fuel screw turned in about 1/4 of a turn....if that!!!
