volvo 240 intercooled turbodiesel video!

well just a week ago i posted that i picked up a 1984 volvo 240 diesel with the D24 vw motor.  i asked about turbocharging it and found some inspiration in success stories on this site. went to the junkyard that weekend and got the parts to turbo it.  i've got it turbocharged and intercooled now and even at stock boost the increased power is incredible. i love it.

it is open diff, if that was sarcasm, that diff is a Dana 30, i have 300hp flowing through one in my other car, it blows up transmissions left and right but that diff is good to 400+whp.  

yeah, the actual turbocharging part i did in two afternoons after work, the rest of the time was spent gathering parts.

Nice, great work!  I'd love to have a 242 TD.  It's hard enough just finding a 242 that's worth keeping!

Here's a vid of my friend's Volvo 244 with upgraded 24TDIC (~250hv). Sadly this beast got totally wrecked afterwards.  :cry:
