WTB Crankshaft Pulley from a 1.6D or 1.6TD
« on: March 26, 2008, 07:21:18 pm »
I want to buy a crankshaft pulley and the 4 bolts that go along with it. Mine fell off the engine during a tow because the bolts weren't on when I bought it... :?

You should add your location to your profile. Also, what accessories do you have?

Are they the same as a 1.9?

I'm in beavercreek, ohio, USA

As for accessories... all I have is a water pump and an alternator. I was rebuilding my engine today and I was trying to figure out what turned the water pump and alternator. Then I noticed I don't have a crankshaft pulley! Anybody got one?

I have a harmonic balancer off of a 1991 TD, I swapped it over to a serp setup. I don't post much here, but generally browse. I am on the vwvortex.com most of the time, same user name. I don't have a price in mind, but feel free to make an offer. I can also be contacted at [email protected]

I'm looking for the stamped steel v-belt pulley, not the harmonic balancer. But thanks for the offer.

Still looking!

I should have a couple. Let me check my collection. I'm pretty sure I have them in cast iron, and stamped. I'll post an update if I've got some.

If you haven't posted already, can you let me know what year car you have? I believe that there is a difference between MK 1 and 2.
