My Jetta decided to start protesting against me... first my shift linkage dropped a bushing, making it really hard to shift into 2nd and 4th (shifts really smooth by hand at the trans input). A full linkage rebuild is in order.
Now I have a new oil leak (besides the valve cover gasket) in the oil cooler/filter area. Ruled out the oil cooler gasket AND the bracket gasket as there's oil about 3-4" up along the oil feed line to the turbo. Does anyone have a part # for this oil line? Does it require any o-rings at either end? How much do they run? Do I have to buy it from the dealer? I've yet to find it at any of my normal parts sources.
