Dumb governor question

To do the governor mod on an older working pump
1. do you have to replace the top cover gasket?
2. I would assume you do what is the vw part number so I could get one.

I did the mod on another pump that had just been sent and rebuilt, but as far as one with an older gasket I am just making for sure as I don't want to lose my daily driver. thanks in advance Lucas

there is a guy on ebay that is selling a kit
the numbers are something like DSK 126
Let me know if anyone thinks this is the correct kit. Thanks Lucas

i thought the bosch number was
dsg 121
or dsk 121


i was thinkin that your "126"was wrong,and its "121" instead

those kits are usuallyunder 25$, but its been a few years since ive gotten one
