i was looking at the fuel tanks that the vw baja guys use. they seem pretty simple. do you all think that they would be an acceptable tank for some wvo action.
1986 Golf 1.6l non turbo (R.I.P.)
1999.5 jetta (bought with 122145)
1969 karmann ghia(diesel swap dream)(most likely going to be subaru powered)
1998 jetta tdi (parents car)

yeah they work fine.  I've used those before. Use the clear one so you don't need a fuel guage. Also don't use the outlet at the bottom because otherwise you'll be picking up the bits of sludge and crap that WILL settle at the bottom.

Do you have a pic?
Iuse a GL headlight washerbottle 22litres capacity  and nice and warm in the engine compartment. No lifting of viscous fluid issues and easy to preheat with top rad hose (externally wrapped coil or internal setup)
