i am under the the impression from other posts that '93 corrado g60 girling calipers, pads, and rotors will bolt on my 93 gtd to upgrade the front brakes to 280mm, is this true?
also i want to change out my rear drums for disks. do i just need the caliper carriers, calipers, rotors, and pads from a rear disk brake equiped model to make it all bolt on?
also are there better upgrades like dual pot calipers that bolt on in place of the above equipment for the front or rear?
i drive up and down the local ski hills almost everyday and the stock brakes barely handle it on the bad traffic days, leaving me wanting much more.
The Corrado G60 Calipers (called g54 I think) should just bolt up to the front. You can also use the Audi 5000/200 dual piston front calipers (called g60 oddly enough) and the Corrado 4 bolt rotors. For the rear you need the stub axle and backing plate as well as the rotor/bearing/seal kit pads and mk2/3/4 calipers. If you use the MK4 calipers they are aluminum and might be in better shape if you get scrape yard ones.
I think there is a different master cyl. you can use the ones from the 4 disc brake cars(22mm).
Yes they will bolt on.
Use the Corrado rotors (11") and either the calipers you mentioned or the Audi duel piston calipers (labeled G60).
If the later you need a 22mm master cyl.
I didnt post pics of the mastr but I used the Audi calipers.
in this thread somewhere are pics of the before and after.

reviving an old post...
anyone have a part # for 22mm master, or which car it comes out of for salvage yards? thanks
They are standard on the mk3 I think.
