Hey welcome to the board, nice car in fact it lookes the mate to my first diesel, that is with the exception of the rims and dual rounds you have put on.
That being said I'm sure you will find the guys here are super helpfull and knowlegable, and have lots of tips about getting a little more zip out of your diesel.

Nice!  Its amazing what rims and a grille will do to change the frumpy looks of a car!  Looks great.  I'm trying to find a set of Recaros to put in my Caddy....they're rare as hens teeth down here.

I work as a parts tech for a VW/Porsche dealer and I was the president of our local vw club for years so most of the parts fell in my lap, got the rack for $20 from another airriders member, and the grille I grabbed from one of my suppliers for about 40 bucks, I had alot of mk2 stuff lyeing around from many previous projects, (16vT gti, and vr6 mk2)
