I'm considering buying a pair of peloquin limited slip diffs for my syncro.
If anyone else is interested in such a thing, or even just the 80% kit maybe we can get a group buy happening.
From experience in my jetta and now rabbit, even for regular every day sporty driving (and winter driving!) these diffs are worth it.
ok, i'll do it like a poll. keep in mind that the regular price for an 020 transmission diff is around $875 so it should be notable savings from that price.
Be serious folks, if you want one, and are just waiting for a good deal say yes, otherwise say maybe if you're more waiting for a to-die-for deal which will probably never happen. I need accurate numbers to tell the guy.

You might want to try posting on the " other" sites as well. Might be more of a pain in the ass, but each buyer drops the price. You have any idea how many you need for a discount, and what it might be?

I thought I'd get a rough idea of the number before contacting the supplier.
I'll try other sites too.

I would take an 80% locking shim kit if the price is right

I'm interested, but I've gotta decide what transmission I'm using in my project first.

the polquin 020 diff will fit all 020 4 and 5 speeds. 02A is different, but all part of the group buy.

i'm down! i've been looking around for people who do LSD installs etc. my jetta is a POS as one tire will just spin in snow with zero traction and i'm STUCK aaaaaaaaaarghh i don't even mind paying full price, but having you to help me install it would be sick!
BTW i want to install it on a 6 speed box from Europe. don't know the tranny code
would that be part of the group buy???

find the code, check it on the peloquin website. if they make a diff for that tranny, then it'll qualify.

Just for clarity I thought that the peloquins were TBDs not LSDs.
Andrew
kinda like calling a tissue a kleenex in this case, i think. They are torque biasing diffs. And therefore, they limit single wheel slip. hehehe.
