1.6NA price
« on: March 09, 2008, 12:14:54 pm »
I am selling a 1.6NA to a guy local who wants it for his Samauri project.  Its a freshly rebuilt motor, i've had it in my car now for about 8,000 miles, so its "tested" so to speak.  Runs great, etc.  It was overbored 1st oversize with new Mahle pistons, all new bearings, gaskets, head got valve job, new exhaust valves, etc.

What would be a fair price to ask for it?  I have a pretty good idea what the Turbo motors go for, rebuilt and worn out, but I'm not sure about the NA motors.

location, location, location depends on where your at and what the demand is for them? E-bay can give you a idea on what thier selling for? i guess depends on how much you have invested and how much you wanna depreciate it for the person your selling it too?
hope that helps?
thanks Duane

You should sell it to me for my Scirocco project.  :D Here in the south they're kinda hard to come by in good shape.
