The long left hand thread screw/dogpecker that screws into the front of the injection pump that the governor assembly rotates on.....what effect, if any would moving this in or out have? During a pump rebuild, when disassembling the governor, I made a mental note that the allen-head end of that screw was approximately flush with its goofy locknut.....I looked at several other pumps I have and they all appear to be in that location. But, it is possible to screw it in further. So what will it do? I probably need to go back and read through the Bosch VE pump information to see how the governor fully functions....I understand what it does, but there is a bleed port or something that I'm not sure about.
