Feeler - 1985 VW Jetta TD

I have a 1985 VW Jetta TD ... The body is rust free, and the engine runs great.

I had the engine rebuilt about 40k miles ago. Those 40k miles have been all highway. The odometer reads 155k, but it hasn't worked in a while.

This car uses less than 1qt of oil in 5k miles. It starts on the first crank even on the coldest of days.

Following is what has been replaced on the car:

All struts replaced
Re-ringed engine
8 new valves/seats
New rod bearings
New timing belt
Exhaust redone
New CV joints
New rear bearings
Block heater installed
New alternator
New coolant tank


I am the 3rd owner of this vehicle... My father was the second, and he bought it from the orginal owner. I have records of everythign that has been done to the car since it was new.

I am in Colorado, and trying to get a feel for what this vehicle is worth.

lots of money probably, dont put it on ebay, they will probably kill you for it!  or just give you a lot of money
