I have some old rebuild parts still in the packages from years ago.What the difference between valve guides and seals?I think i have a set of seals,but what do the guides look like ?
Cummins 4bta- 85 dodge prospector short bed
28 mpg!!and i can pull down a house!
1.6td in toyota pickup
10mm head ,t3 intercooled.

go to google images and search "vw valve guide"  and plenty of pictures will come up.   valve guides are brass colored tubes pressed into the head the valves slide in no rubber to them.  seals have the rubber
