Any updates on Passenger Diesel?
« on: February 21, 2008, 12:32:25 pm »
a few weeks ago emailed 935racer about DP availability and he said they would be making the 2.5" again soon. I emailed back on when and if he had an ETA on when the site would be back up but got no response. I still need a couple of months before i can get one but it seems they are not going to be available anymore. Has anyone worked with PD recently to know what they are up to or are they still taking phone orders? For that matter, the Vendors section seems pretty dead which is why i am wondering how some have ordered from PD recently. thanks

Did you say he was going to make2.5" DP's again?  I thought he was only doing 3".  He is in the process of moving into a new shop, and in the middle of a big project.  Call him at his shop.

Okay i will look into calling when ready then. As far as the 3" downpipes go, he said they were a hassle to make and would be making a SS 2.5" instead. The new shop makes sense though, thanks for the info.

Call Dave.

I am going down this weekend to help him move to the new shop. I know that he has had a couple project vehicles that they have been working on around the clock, trying to get done for the big grand opening on Sunday. If you call he will get back to you. Dave is not very computer savy and it takes along time for him to post, as such if he doesn't have free time he doesn't go online.

They say a messy work space is a messy mind!

So a clean new shop should give room for lots of new motivation and ideas

happy to hear he's making progress and still interested in making those pretty DP's

Can't wait for the site and pics of the new shop
Everything he posted before is remarkable
props

Well I was down this weekend, and it was a LONG 2 days, we got most of the heavy stuff moved, but Dave still has at least another 3 days of small stuff to move + setup. So for everyone that is trying to get a hold of him. Leave a message he will call you back, but he must have everything moved out by Thursday, so these next couple days are going to be hectic. To give you an idea Dave worked until 5am on Sunday, and then we were back to the shop by 8am and were there for the open house / dyno day till 6pm.

I must say the open house was impressive. I saw two S600 benz's one NA, one twin turbo. A brand new Bentley, a Ferrari 360 spyder. Brand new chipped M6 with the 7 speed sequential. ect... at least a million dollar's in cars!

I didn't take any pics sorry guys, my wife had the camera...

How ever I did see them shooting a bunch of video. So hopefully they will have a few clips and pics from that up in the next few days.
