FS: 1.6TD engine and 4 195/60-14 tires mounted on rims..

Ok...

I have sitting in my garage a rebuilt 1.6 TD mechanical lifter engine. Was rebuilt 2 years ago and has about 30,000 kms on the rebuild. Originally this was to be picked up by the buyer of my Quantum TD, but the buyer decided against it as it was too far to go for an engine and the one in the quantum is good.

So... It's taking up room and it has to go..

Engine is relatively complete. It will need a oil pan (as I used the oil pan on another motor) :twisted: , but I have a N/A Oil pan in very nice shape that I will include. No turbo or turbo exhaust manifolds (I may have one kicking around tho - no guarantees!), no intake manifold. Comes with an injection pump that is missing the LDA top (again, I used it for another project..) :twisted: Also the vacuum pump I pilfered...

What you get is a good head and block, waterpump, alternator, injectors. Engine turns freely and has decent compression.  I have a N/a exhaust manifold and header pipe that I will throw in as I really don't need the stuff any more. :wink:

Give me $350 for the whole assembly.

I also have a set of 4 Bridgestone (I think..) all seasons mounted on Jetta Alloys. Balanced. Tires have clearly over 85-90% tread. Alloys have some curbage, but with a coat of paint they should be good to go. Get ready for spring - $120 for the set.

Ok, here are the pics - better late than never!

First: The engine:



Main seal was replaced and is in excellent shape



Peek at the bottom end. In great shape - cylinder walls are fresh.




Top end, cam lobes in very good shape, no stuck lifters. All real nice..



Front shot - LDA top off pump. I have the govenor assembly safely put away. I did find a n/a top if you want to run the pump. The pump itself is not leaking..




Still comes with Mk1 mount. Timing Belt is in good shape. Non a/c pulley and bracket.



Love that 1.6D casting!



With a spare valve cover and N/A oil pan in very good clean shape.

OK, here are pics of the rims and the tires. Tires are 195/60/14 3 of them are 90+% tread 1 is 85% tread.

Bump - Found out that the tires are not a matched set, 3 are the same performance radial, one is a BF goodrich TA.  Due to that light, I'm reducing the price to $100.
