• I need a TD airbox for a MK1....I dont know how similar they are to the MK2 TD airboxes, but if a MK2 will work, i'll take it.

• don't want to kill your sale tyler but i think mkII is too wide. pretty sure i test fit a couple different mkII boxes at one point...
  
  actually i think the problem is that the mkII botton will hit the wheel well 'bubble' whereas the mkI has that part cut away. you could modify a mkII box to work i'm sure.

• Black Tie....yeah I was wondering about that.  From pictures I have looked at it seems the MK2 boxes are a bit wider...but I didn't know if that would make much of a difference.  Tyler if it looks like I can make it work I'll let you know.

• I put a digi II airbox, from a '90 Jetta, in a Rabbit, but had to cut a slot along the bottom to get it to sit over the raised pinchweld.

   The carbed gasser Rabbits had th eairbox on that side and might have a few ports to plug but should work nicely.
