Adding a boost controller is about the only way I can see since theres no arm to adjust. I built my own boost controller out of various fittings and it works great.

There is a spring inside the actuator can. I suppose you could replace it with a stiffer one. The MBC is probably the easiest way to go.

Where does the boost controller tap into as its different to my turbo and i'm still scratching my head! So i took some pics!
This is the Turbo:-
Pics are crappy - but wondered if someone had any info? What turbo is it and where does the controller go? there are NO markings on the Turbo housing anywhere!

The controller would be a bleeder valve .The object is to trick the stock wastegate into staying closed.Say your WG starts opening at 9psi. if you bleed some of that pressure off the wastegate wont see 9psi till your boosting lets say 25psi

Bleeder valves will work but the general consensus is that ball and spring types work better and will allow the boost to build quicker. Look here for a basic explanation.

I already have a boost controller on my GTD, but my mates car has a different turbo layout to mine, just wondered where to tap the controller into on this one!

I have a T3 as well and unfortunately dont have any pics but mine has 2 lines going to the WG can. One goes to the compressor inlet which senses atmospheric pressure, and the other goes to a port in the compressor outlet which senses the boost pressure. I simply cut the pressure line and blocked the pressure side, fed my boost controller pressure from the manifold, sent the controller outlet to the other side of the cut WG line.
