g40 cover for the the newer rigs?

wouldnt somthing like that work for those engines


1986 Golf 1.6l non turbo (R.I.P.)
1999.5 jetta (bought with 122145)
1969 karmann ghia(diesel swap dream)(most likely going to be subaru powered)
1998 jetta tdi (parents car)

So are you thinking maybe these valve covers would fit the 1.9s since they have the 3 fasteners accross the top?  It would be interesting to know if they'd fit.  It looks like the Polos have the distributor coming out the other end of the VC, so that would be a bit of a problem.  I guess the other questions have to do with length, width, and bolt hole spacing.  As far as I can tell, the part number for that VC is 030103475F.

thts cause it is, its one of the motors that tilt forward and have the exhaust in the front.  is it like dual throttle body or something?

well. us idi guys have the g40 or g60 valve cover but i dont know of any for the 1.9 tdi guys

G40 ones definately dont fit! I own a G40 in the UK and its too small!
