Lets see your N/A's intake

I'll have to get a picture of mine, but besically the whole front cover is cut away. Its great for letting it breathe better. but its LOUD!

I'm looking for a better idea, one that will let it breathe to give it good fuel economy. But one that isnt so loud you can hear my car half way across the subdivision (literally :oops: )

I'm thinking of getting one of these flanges (just the round metal bit) & cut out the snorkel to insert it. then run some hose (the one on the left) to someplace with some cool air.

Or something similar.

ya, im just kinda wondering what size hole is big enough with out going over the top.

Like my WHOLE filter is exposed... ya it works, but its over excessive BY FAR.

sorry the thumbs dont seem to want to link to the stupid pictiger properly -
anycase, its fairly easy to see whats goingon - i found this setup to be very effective and not at all noisy.
