Hi, I'm looking for a TDI transmission in good working order. I prefer an O2A but I'll take a O2J also.
Thanks

What car is it going in? Is a AAZ tranny ok (020)?

Moving that quickly on the new project Ryan? Lucky you! That didn't take long! I'll keep my eyes open. I've got my "two" here, but they are both slated to go into cars...
I think i saw one over on TDIclub recently...

Thanks Joe, yeah I'm at the get all the parts together stage. I've seen a bunch for sale but they are mostly out of my price range.

yeah, they have been that way. I'm at the same point as you (for the b3 conversion)...however, do to a situation that occurred, i have to re source alot of my parts out of CAN again...
And on the rabbit...i'm at a standstill. Trying to figure if I want to buy the mounts, put the trans in this year. Find someone to help fab some or wait and do MK2/3 style mounts in the mk1 next year.... oye. Then...the idea of kicking around an MK2 has been in the mind again there too!
I'll keep my eyes out and check a few people that I know had one. I know there was someone in the MASS that had one...would you be interested in it? You might have to drive there...

I read your thread about that ordeal, really sucky.
I don't mind traveling a bit to get one if the deal is right. I would be more than willing to help you fab the mounts. Logistics would be the challenge there. Atleast you could still just drive the Rabbit if you decided to hold off for awhile.

this is true. My welding skills aren't that great the moment and I would appreciate any help I could get. I have ALL of the dimensions for the upper d side tranny mount (drawing, dimensions, materials needed, etc) The rear mount is more of the issue...
I'll contact you seperate from this to keep the thread on task.
On the other hand, I'll contact the person that I think has one in the MASS area and let you know....
