SO I was coming home from school and this yellow protege' or however it is spelled pulls out behind me with all his stickers and crap with MAZDASPEED on the hood and tries to pass me after I had to slow down for some guy turning in front of me so with 2 other guys and the rest of the car full of dirty laundry in my ride I smash the accelerater down and give him a little smoking before he barely gets around me without being taken out by a semi.  It was really funny, he had that scared look on his face when his life flashed before his eyes!  If i hadn't been weighted down so much, I could have taken him for sure!  No more passengers allowed!

those mazdaspeed's are pretty potent engines, but still... mileage is crap.  damn i hate gassers! 268 hp turbocharged 4 cyl engine... they're definitely quick in the hands of an experienced driver

some people should take more care when trying to pass someone... if your car has no balls or not enough balls to make the pass... then don't!  obviously his stickers didn't give him that 'edge'    and he should have saw the truck coming and waited for a better time to pass.

damn kids...

i have the road rage

I have had morons pass me when there was no way they were ever going to complete the pass in time to get back in to our lane.

Couple options present themselves:

1.  Take a breath, call him a ***ing retard  :x (windows rolled up), and get on your brakes so he can get back in.
2.  *** him, stay on the gas.  Which leads directly to options 3, 4, and 5.
3.  Get rammed as he whips it back into your lane, causing both of you to crash.
4.  Watch him hit a semi head on and kill himself and everyone else in the car, watch as his car comes through the air and hits the minivan behind you and takes out the mom and her kids.
5.  Haul ass outta there and hope no one got your plate number, cause if they did, your ass will be going to jail for a long long time.

By the way, my wife drives a minivan.  Yep, got three kids in there too....

Can't say I never did stupid *** when I was a kid.  Guess I lucked out most of the time.

Guess you and the other driver were both lucky on that day.

Lady luck can be a mean *** when she wants to be.
Take the high road next time.

End of sermon.

it's all good.  sometimes though it takes the better man to realize that it's just not worth it.  it's just a matter of time before that kid makes a move he'll regret anyways.  or maybe get so close that he learns his lesson.  it's like fire or hot things.  kids (mostly boys?  ) have to touch the fire/element to learn its hot.  i wish people didn't have to die to learn that pulling those kind of 'stunts' is dangerous.

btw here in Canada the laws can be pretty lax.  if you're drunk and kill a bunch of people you can get off pretty easy.. basically a driving prohibition and some other community based work which is really just a slap on the wrist compared to what the person has done.  maybe a probation for a couple of years? woopity doo?  down in the states people go to jail for a long time for pulling that kind of *** which is the way it should be here.

here in Durham there is a program where people can send the police a licence plate number and report dangerous driving.  i doubt anyone ever does, but if enough complaints etc.  the police really step in.  personally i would only want to 'scare' a kid rather than see him get charged with anything.. everyone makes mistakes.

I agree, I don't like alcohol.  The thing is I don't drink at all but I have a need for speed I guess.  I am sure that is the way it is with a lot of people on this forum that want to make their diesel dub go fast.  You have to drive to get good at it.  Damn those hormones...

It's all about where you drive fast. Going balls out on an empty highway is one thing, but residential and busy roads are no place for giving 'er

When I do my top speed tests, they are usually when no one else is around and on a smooth road, maybe at night, whenever the opportunity presents itself, im pretty sneaky...
