Hello,
I am looking to buy a mTDI pump, and possible some AHU injectors, and i need to know how much I would be looking at spending.
Thanks in advance.

Plan on spending 600+ for a nicely setup mTDI pump that is properly built... another 100 prob for injectors.
Posting your location would be a good thing too, especially given some things that have gone on here lately. Makes buyers/sellers more confident (in this members opinion).
Good Luck.

I had a hard time finding injectors and finally got my gummed up ones for $175. But that is soooo much better than the new price.

Thanks, my location should be listed under my name...
<--over there, if not it is Red Deer Alberta Canada
Sounds like a good mTDI pump is fairly hard to come by if that is the price.
Thanks again!

i wouldn't trust anyone other than Giles or Tintin to build me an mTDI pump. just remember you get what you pay for.
check out Giles' info in the vendors section and get his phone #. you can ask him what you need and approx cost of the finished product.

well you could always sell the TDI pump for $600 and buy a cummins 4BT pump and use the governor off of a 1.6TD and the LDA (spaceship top) i'm pretty sure thats what hillfolk'r did. if you can find a cummins 4BT pump though...

his is a 1.6td pump with the head rotor spring cam plate crap all off of a 4bt. u need to us a vw pump as a base so that u have the right shaft on the front so that your timing gear will fit.

It will work, but not to its full potential and not nearly the fueling it can put out. There are more modifications that need to be done here than just swapping the parts. Timing advance needs to be accounted for as well as some modifications to the control lever to name a few.
