1 issue is that i have a fuel leak some where, i don't really see any fuel dripping anywhere or even smell it in the engine bay, but when my car sits over night or w/e the pump loses its prime so when i first start the car it will miss a good bit then smooth, any suggestions on how to further diagnose this?
the other problem which is more of annoyance than the first is that when my car is up to temp and i am drive, any time i let off the gas and the car gets to a lower rpm the oil light will come on for a second then go off, do i just need to replace a sensor or what? it doesn't do it when accelerating or drive at a low engine speed or anything
When mine had a problem, I didn't see any fuel anywhere, but I would slowly get air bubbles while it was sitting. I replaced some rubber fuel lines and tightened others and I fixed it. I think it was slowly getting air on the return line close to the pump, and as fuel drained out, air made it's way into the pump and up the intake line.

yep thats exactly what is happening, as far as visiually.. i'll have to buy some hose and see what i can do
I had the same problem, and it was a loose fitting on the return line next to the pump- no fuel leak, but air would get in overnight. So far so good after the tightening.
I did a gasser engine swap and had so much air getting in that it would barely run. Spent literally hours swapping bits of rubber, hose clamps etc to no avail . Even set up a pressure test and the line would hold 20lbs, yet would still suck air.
Went to napa, bought 15' of 1/4" fuel hose and ran it from tank to filter in one uninterupted length which is how it should have been done in the first place.
