why does it take so long for the revs to drop wen u take ur foot off, sorry if this is a stupid question but i just dont know exactly why this happens,  seems to happen the more the max fuel screw is screwed in, is there any way it can be avioded without loosing power?

adjust the residual fuel screw.  its hidden behind the pump.

It can also be a sign of worn injectors

also worth checking... the accelerator cable! Disconnect cable from pump, pull accelerator/throttle leaver manually and see if it still takes long for revs to drop... could be just a sticking/worn out cable.

well after seeing what you have done, start by turning the idle stop screw (residual fuel screw) out until the engine will barely idle. Then adjust the max fuel screw to your liking. You may end up with a low idle, but the power should be fine. You will need to do it in that order or else you will be stuck with what I had to deal with for the past few weeks.

ok thats what ive been doing just wonderd if there was another way, what actualy causes it? is it cus theres just to much fuel to fit through the injectors in one go?

my aaz injectors didnt do this so much, are my 1.6 injectors choking fuel?

which are best for perfomance? dont know how fast it is yet, need to change few other bits b4 i can test it but it sounds pretty gud

If you have a TD pump, put the fuel screw back to where it was, and turn the LDA pin to the max slope and try that.

After that you can back off the governor screw (max throttle stop).  And you'll get more RPM and fuel too.  You may also witness booste creep too, as the booste will climb to 20 PSI quite easily when you wind it up

The moving the fuel screw is kind of like holding the throttle slightly open with the foot pedal.
