sorry
the ones I have say
0 250 201 032 015

so, are they the same damn plug?
they dont say duraterm anywhere?

it also has these #'s on the box
N 102 130 02

There is some confusion because the duraterm plugs superceded the old fast glow plugs but the part number (Bosch or VW) was not changed. There may be still some old stock out there. The only way to tell the difference is to look at the plugs themselves. The self regulating type have a thinner tapered tip. The old fast or glow types have a constant diameter all the way to the end. Heres a link to a pic -  http://www.boschautoparts.co.uk/pcGlow2.asp?c=2&d=1

Macgyver posted a cheap source of beru glow plugs awhile ago, here's the link - http://vwdiesel.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=719&highlight=

You need the GN857's for your 1.9TD. Have you tested the existing glow plugs yet?

It may not be your glowplugs but your timing as your crankshaft pulley may be worn.  It is critical that you remove it to check the keyway on the pulley for wear.  Mine did this, and before I checked it, destroyed the motor. It was only noticeable when cold.  Should have listened to my wife when she said it was running rought.  Thought it was glow plugs also, so left it for a few weeks.

If there is any wear, you can not just replace with a new pulley as the crank will be worn also.
