I cut and pasted the following from a search on "porting"
"The diesel heads respond very well to porting. In the same way that the early 1.5, 1.6 & 1.7 gas heads did. My favorite "how-to" is an article from David Vizard in Hot VWs in 1981 or so. Gave great descriptions of where to port and what increase it gave."
Does anyone have this article or know of a link to it?
Could someone recommend one of his books that might have info specific to
water cooled heads that would applicable to a diesel?
I googled around, amazon etc but I could find nothing by title, but thats not to say there's nothing between the covers.
Growing up in the old country, Vizard was the man if you were tuning a Mini or an Escort.
