I just tried to contact him via phone as well...his voicemail is full, so I can't even leave a message. Man...glad I went about payment smart at least. OYE! If someone has an idea on the above picture and/or has had experience with canadapost.ca filling out these forms. I'm pretty sure there are NO official markings...and just want to confirm.
Let me know...

Hey Joe,
I was lookin at your pic! and comparing it to one i got from Tyler (burn your money) in the upper right hand corner thats shaded in blue! that part will be filled out by the post master or whoever is processing the package when it's being mailed will have the required weights,date,value,ETC.ETC. and it should have a bar code sticker on it as well?
to me that looks like the proper form but not filled out by canada post! thanks

Yes, def...that is what I thought. Its def. the right "form", but there are no official markings on it showing that the package has actually been sent.
This really burns me...

Best case scenario that picture was taken of the form prior to the item being mailed. Anyone can get one of those forms and fill it out to the extent that it is. Doesn't mean anything until the top is filled out and I believe there should be a stamp in the top right corner as well. Personally I wouldn't wait any longer to request the refund from Paypal. I got caught out once because they will only refund to the limit of what the other individual has in their Paypal account. All the other party has to do is clear the account out, and you won't get a refund. As previously mentioned by others, this is one big reason to use a credit card to fund the Paypal payment. At least then you have a chance to get the money from your credit card company.

My crank gear came by Canada Post and my tracking number showed up almost right away though it didn't show where the package was, just that it had been sent and the approx delivery date.

If a parcel is being shipped VIA CanadaPost to the US the tracking number is only good until the parcel crosses the border. This is where USPS takes over and they only update to confirm delivery of the package. The tracking number will still show up however it will appear that the item is siting at the sorting facility (if shipped from Ontario it's usually the Mississauga one) until it is delivered.
This is a picture of a properly filled out form (Private info blocked out). You'll also notice that I have a bunch of blank forms. It really speeds things up at the post office and keeps everyone happy.

Joe's is a picture of Xpresspost, mine is Expedited. The blue section is filled out by the postal worker
at the time of shipping It is also stamped. If the form is not stamped the insurance (if any, $100 automatically included unless parcel is sent "small packet") is void

thanks guys...I'm going to be escalating my paypal claim today and requesting a full refund of all moneys sent to him. I'm tired of dealing with the lies and bull#*$% at this point...since, I gave him a deadline to ship and my worst fears were confirmed...that the package indeed had not been sent yet (as evidenced by the shipping form not having any official markings/stamps filled out yet).

I only received $3 from my paypal claim for a $50 part. At least mk2fanatic eventually refunded me $50 through a postal money order.

I will be unleashing the fury of H#($. I have a number of means that I have already considered and will put into action. Anyone know where I could find the number for law enforcement in his area? I will also be posting to the moderators of the other forums as well. When I get the time. Right now I am concerned about my parts and/or money.

I'd like to find someone that lives close to him! I'm working on other means, legally and through paypal. I just escalated my dispute to a claim...offering them all correspondence...the junk picture that showed the items supposedly shipped and they have had the bogus, unregistered tracking number listed in the dispute since I received it and I've also been providing updates about how it has not been working/doesn't even register. So...we'll see.
It burns me...especially when I was lied to once...gave a chance, and have been lied too/taken advantage of a second time!

I see there is also a Craig's List in Windsor. You could post his name, address and phone # in the rants/raves section for free along with what an a** he is.
Embarrass him in his own community. Maybe even find the local paper and put an ad in there. You should post all his info here and on the other forums so that if he changes his screen name or gives a fake name, people still have a way to identify him, if the mods would allow it.
