A couple weeks ago my oil pump died in my car. I stupidly drove on it and caused some very bad blow by. So I thought, well, it's just cheapest to replace the block. But then a friend suggested that I look into putting the 1.9L AAZ block on my current setup.
At the moment I have a N/A 1.6L motor with a good pump and good head.
So first of all I have to source a used block. Doing some googling for the last hour got me nothing. Looks like 1.9L blocks are about $900 more when looking at the new ones. I found a 1.6L used block for $200, that was a decent deal, if i can get a used 1.9L for $300 I might go for it.
Thoughts? Concerns? Ideas? Blocks?
