Guess I need one more torque spec if anyone has it handy. I need the torque spec for the injector hold down bolt on a AHU/1Z head. Thanks.

Yeah. You don't want to snap that injector-holder bolt off in the head. It seems to happen frequently, from what I gather on TDIclub. You may want to upgrade to grade 8 bolts so you don't have to worry about that happening.

Isn't that about what an 8.8 is, or do I want a 10.whatever?

my buddy usually breaks the crabs not the bolts
if you got the bore clean and the copper washer is clean+injector too
no need to kill it
i dont remember the spec(20nm sounds good) exactly,but i know that i didnt have to max out my 200 inch pound snap on torque wrench,i wanna say 180 in pounds was the spec

That's what I heard brakes also. So bought extra clamps just in case.
