Hey gang,
Ok, my long term dream with my Caddy is to put in a TDI motor. I think I know of one that I can get at a reasonable price with the swap started. The motor is in the car. The mounts are done, the wiring is yet to be done.
My question is, how much of a true pain is this? I know the Pre-99 TDI's (MK3/B4) are easier as they don't have the immobilizer issues that the MK4/B5.5 TDIs have. What I want to know is what all is there that would really be hard to solve.
I have the tools, the time, the skills, the possible financial backing, and the patience, not to mention a VAG-COM that will help out in the work.
Thanks,
Mikey
