I have 2 1.5 diesel engines. 1 is from a dasher and looks like it's been rebuilt. The head is clean, new gaskets everywhere and very clean inside.I got another one from a friend that's been sitting forever, needs to be torn down and cleaned up at the least as it had some water in it.I was wondering if there would be any interest in these in the current condition or if I should rebuild and sell or just scrap them.

Thanks! will you help me stack them too? L.O.L. i have 3 in the garage now!I play with the 1.6TD motors now and I treat the 1.5's like thier the redheaded step child's do you know where 90706 area is? thats where i'm from! I'd like to go back i'm tired of sibera here where i live now!Duane
hmmmm i bet you could sleeve the blocks & re-use the old pistons

I could be interested in 1.5 pistons + rods + crank.

No not like that! the block would be bored out to accept the sleeves! then a deep freeze on the sleeves and even heat on the block so the sleeves can be pressed it and then deck machining to flatten it out! something like that?I grew up right where the I605 and 91 freeway intersected! Bellflower,Norwalk,Cerritos,Lakewood,Longbeachnow i miss those 50 degree winters I took them for granted!Duane
