I want to come down the the GTA in the next couple of weeks. Maybe someone can organize something in Kitchener area so it's half way for GTA and Hamiliton people?

Hmmm... you know what, I might be able to host some sort of thing.

I'm going to be out of here on the 21st heading to the East Coast for Christmas with my girlfriend and her family, and won't be back until 2nd week of January. So either before the 21st or after the 4th/5th of Jan/08, we could do something at my place in Markham, depending on how many people are showing up. Depending on when and what's going on, I might be able to persuade Giles to come as well, and/or arrange for a brief tour of Performance Diesel Injection.

Let me know what you think, folks. And now, I bid you all adieu. I am in dire need of sleep.

Everyone who is interested, either post here or PM me with a rough idea of what timeframe works better for you - pre-Dec 21/07 or post-Jan5/08. If there are a half-dozen / dozen or more who are interested, I'll see if I can persuade Giles into either being present on an evening / weekend to give a shop tour or else letting me open the place up. Hosting the get together at my place isn't a problem; in addition, I make a significant quantity of homebrew beer and wine, so if you're comfortable trusting me, you're welcome to enjoy.  8)

Looking forward to hearing who's interested.

I'd be in. The new year would work better for me, but I may be able to "escape" before...

I'd be in for post-New year.  Only because i'm relatively sure i won't complete all the niggling bits to get the TD back on the road before x-mas.

I hibernate just like my Diesel in the Winter, so I won't be out to any GTGs til Spring

Til then, I just try to stay warm in my winter-beater-gasser Jetta.  :?

I defonatley would be interested  in coming on down, I have a contact for a really nice indoor location that would be big enough for atleast 30 or more cars. Could make a meet and enjoy a warm day inside dubbin

Would anyone be interested in a indoor Pickering meet?
Maybe I'll try and work something out....

I always wanted to do a live show or booth where someones doing the live engine swap for everyone to check out!

any ideas would  be so much fun!
