friend is doing some work on his car, thought he blew the turbo so he ordered a new turbo from kermatdi, its a "vnt-18" so i guess its an upgraded vnt17...
anywho the turbo wasnt blown when we removed it tonight, the exhaust cooler line broke and was messing stuff all up...
so we pull it off and its a gt17 it says on the compressor, so im like... sweet!
im thinking i should give him the core deposit $ that he would get by shipping it back to kerma and put it on my n/a 1.6

except i think it might be blowing oil through the copressor... are rebuild kits cheap and DIY?
