you need to flip the exhaust manifold to make it fit.The benefits are less cylinder bias (#2 and #3) get a lot more air then #1 and #4This is assuming you have a TD, it it's NA there is no gains that I'm aware of
I used an intake off a digifant Fox 1.7L, and had i not been using an aftermarket exhaust manifold, (designed for a gasser) and a different turbo, i would have just stuck with the stock intake. Like burn_your_money said, it's alot of work unless you're going for big power, which in that case one of Dave's PP manifolds would be awesome! :lol: I don't think they require the mods a gasser one does to install either.
