Welcome!if you are going to take the entire engine out for the ring job, you should just rebuild the whole thing. Replacing the rings does not always require removing the whole engine. Usually when replacing the rings, honing the cylinders is part of the job. Might as well do the rod bearings at the same time as they will be removed when you take the pistons out for the ring job.Sky is the limit so maybe your budget might be the next part of this discussion
