Engine temperature?
« on: November 22, 2007, 12:08:03 pm »
I've recently done the headgasket on my car. When it is fully heated up it sits halfway up the gauge. But at motorway speeds (80mph) it tends to creep a little bit past halfway, is this normal?

I'd just add that I wouldn't rely on the position of the gauge to relate to anything accurate from one vehicle to  another. However get to know what is normal for your gauge on your car and be aware of any unusual changes   ...Does that make sense :? Ditto fuel gauge
