Feeler:84 Quantum Diesel in Portland w/ rebuilt engine
« on: November 21, 2007, 08:28:36 pm »
I've got a Black '84 Quantum I'm thinking of selling.
It's got about 250k miles, but the original turbo diesel motor was replaced with a german remanufactured non-turbo motor with a rebuilt superior performance (giles) injection pump and newly rebuilt injectors.
The IP's got less than 5k miles on it.
The injectors have about 20k.
And the motors got about 50k.
Even though it's not a turbo it's got about the same amount of power because of that IP.
It's got power windows and locks.
The interior is ok, the dash is cracked.
The original paint is still pretty good, just a little faded on the hood.
There's no major rust or dents, just a couple little dings and some minor paint chipping.
The speedometer isn't working but I've already sourced a replacement.
It's got a couple other minor issues, but nothing immediate or major.

I could probably take out the motor and get almost $1500 for the engine and injection pump, if that gives you an idea of the price I'd be looking for.
