Need some opinions on a head

I threw my timing belt at low speeds and put a valve into a lobe on the cam.
here is what my head looks like, tell me what you
think of the damage, as in would you rebuild the head or just get a new one,

this is cylinder 1

this is cylinder 2

this is cylinder 3

this is cylinder 4

here is some pics of the cylinder 1 valve (the one
that came through the camshaft), it appears to be
straight.(although I would never reuse it anyways just in case)

this is the only damage I can see on the top side
small mark on cylinder 1, it look much worse in the picture than in does in person.

Let me know what you think. I can hit the wreckers and
grab another head but if i can save this one i will
try.

thanks
James.

You will need one lifter sleeve for sure.  Not to expensive.  How do the cam journals look?  If it needs to be line bored thats another 100-200 bucks.  The rest of the head looks to be in great shape, small cracks, inserts look good, valves don't look bad.

I would dress up the lifter bore with a file to remove those burrs that the picture shows. When you are satisfied that it is sliding smoothly, polish it with successively finer abrasive cloths untill it looks good. Then put it back together with a new valve. Ignore the cracks. I am assuming that the cam, and the lifter are fine.
