WTB: set of 1z/AHU injector lines and hold downs...
« on: October 24, 2007, 06:22:45 pm »
Just like it says...motor I have here for the b3 didn't come with them. I need the injector hold downs and a complete set of lines from a 1z/AHU motor. Please let me know what you have and what your looking to get within reason.
Have stuff to trade as well if anyone is interested :)

nothing? Doh...hmm... maybe need to check and see if there is a difference between the ALH and 1z/AHU units...found some elsewhere...need to check PN's though...

Still need lines though.

1z/AHU injector lines ARE NOT the same.
The AHU/1z pumps sit in more of a traditional position for VW diesel...upright, at 12 o'clock.

ALH pumps sit more forward on the engine and are tilted out AWAY from the engine, making the lines of an entirely different shape and size.

A pic of the AHU/1z motor with lines...

Pic of a ALH motor...

Def. different.

If its the hold downs, I may be interested. If its a set of 1z/AHU lines, def. interested. But the lines themselves between the motors won't interchange without bending/ruining the lines.

Let me know.

any pics? I'd like to see it first before I even venture towards that route...its hard to imagine that they'd fit. Let me know though...as I need lines either way and haven't personally tried ALH lines on a 1z/AHU motor...

A pic of your lines installed would be good proof too!

What about hold downs? Have a set of those lying around?

I've been looking all over for them too and have only been able to find ALH ones unless I order them from the dealer. Even called parts places all over the US.
