Less fuel?
« on: October 22, 2007, 02:23:58 pm »
hello

after the car came from shop (and pump top being removed) it came with no fuel added than the stock.
i squeezed the screw as far as i "can"(on a decent idle)but now the car almost doesn't smoke even at high rpm...
before it would smoke and it would fly, now that doesn't append :x
the stop screw on the throttle is at a point that if unscrew more the rpm wont drop but my smoke screw its nearly stock point(i can see the yellow marking...)
i can give more fuel but the idle would be very high(now its at 1000rpm)
could be the linkage in bad position?
the first time the car came from shop there was a 3cm of travel on the shaft before rpm would rise and now its OK but i need more fuel...
merc DN261 nozzles also installed so its supposed to smoke more...

edit:if i go at lower rpm, say 1500, and press the accelerator all the way down the car is slower than if i accelerate a little less...
i can feel the car going faster as soon i release the pedal a bit...
what could be?
