hey not that i plan on it but is bad to run a td motor without the turbo? no mods to the pump or anything just disconnecting or removing the turbo/manifold and installing some kind of airfilter?

Not if you make sure it doesn't get too much fuel. Why would you want to though? I'd just disconnect the LDA and adjust the fueling if needed.

i was just driving today watching my boost display and wondered what life would be like na then thought what if my turbo goes out could i still drive around? then i thought so much attention goes to people asking how to do na to td conversions and people trying to turbo na motors but no one ever wants to na a td motor....  :wink: i need to get more hours at work ... im bored

lol... i'd say the TD would be fine without the turbo (in stock form)

don't know why anyone would do that though... i suppose it would help make the car last longer.
