has anybody seen this on a rabbit?

i saw this grill on a 82 rabbit it had two small looking fog lights in the grill, the guy wont tell me where he got it, anybody else know? it's on car domain.com

looks home made to me...
he lists the fog light setup as a mod... i doubt there is a grill made specifically for those fog lights..

I've seen a similar setup for MK2s, pretty rare from what I've heard.

Its a Hella after market grill for the US built Rabbits.

Kind of the equevalet to the one for the round headlight rabbits.

Very rare, and marginally attractive.

those were made in the 80's ! they stop making them because they did not sell very well! but now days the best way to get one is to buy the whole car or caddy and take the grill off put a different grill on ans resale the vehicle! other wise iv'e seen those grill sell for $150.00 up to $250.00and more!!

I got one of those on the Rabbit I just picked up last night along with the original receipt for it, it is Hella circa 1987.  It is missing the lense on one of the lights though. I may put it up for sale or trade, I'll let you guys know.
