I have the opportunity to buy a 1981 diesel pickup but it needs a new fuel tank because the old one is rusted out. Where can I find one?

if you can't find one close to you ? i have a couple but i will not ship because of the fuel thats been in them! it's a hazmat deal! you would need to pick it up your self! let me know!

No, there are none of them anywhere around me. Thanks for the offer but man WI is a bit too far for me. Anyone one else got any ideas on where I could find one?

well then I suggest having a tank made by your local weld shop! you may also want to have the tank made larger so you can go more miles! no matter witch way you go you will pay good money for a tank!you will broably will pay less for one that you have made! and you will get more use out of a larger one any ways! I sold a good tank last fall for $150.00 and he chose that one after having a choice from another one i had for $75.00 that hade repairs done to it! well good luck! if you need anything else let me know ! i have alot of truck parts!
