So, how do you get the hose clamps off and on for a VW? I have a 91 Jetta TD. Specifically the ones found on the fuel filter. Are they reusable?

They look serious, like some big ugly dude put them on with his teeth! What ever happened to spring connectors that can be taken off with simple pliers!?

if we are thinking of the same ones I use side cutters and then put on normal hose clamps
