I have them, but they should be the same as the AC ones

It is the same? Do I have to move the alt to the a/c location? If I install the alt in the same location as it was with the a/c installed, there is no way to drive it. It is driven off of the a/c. thanks for any input.

If I mount my alternator in it's usual position, does it get a different pulley? one with more offset? Also if I do that, does the idler pulley get offset also? And what is the deal with the free wheeling pulley on the waterpump? I'm on a learning curve with my VW right now, It Is my first older watercooled in awhile. thanks

If you are trying to go non-AC.
Same bracket, normally a different, 65 amp alternator.
I have a post over on vwdieselparts.com that shows how I converted my '85 TD engine (in a '91 Golf) to non-AC. It also has pics of some of the different alternator setups.
Search under fatmobile, in the general fora.
