Hi, my neighbour has finally had it with VW's and wants to sell out....
1996 Jetta 275kms, etested, 1.6 non turbo diesel, run great/new belts/oil seals etc, (engine was installed last fall with all new parts), p/s, no a.c, body is fair, floors were patched, interior mint, faded red original paint, on the road/plated, very economical and a couple good years left in the body
1996 Golf td, not running, 1.9 AAZ has new head with 0 kms then broke crank bolt (never left VW dealer lot running!), 550kms, green outside tan inside, lots of good parts not very rusty stored inside for last two years appears to have been very well maintained and owner gave up on dealer and sued them...
1 overheated late AAZ block and head, one cylinder is scored, head is 0.008" warped (7mm valves) no accessories
1 rebuilt late AAZ block that didn't work, machine shop rebuilt, then low oil pressure followed by seizing up intermediate shaft (timing belt badly grooved), complete with K03 turbo (survived), inj pump (pulley adjustment for timing), brackets etc
TONS of mk2 golf and jetta spare parts, we stripped a couple cars...

His wife is retiring and wants the garage empty before they head south this November, EVERYTHING $2500 located 1/2 hour south of Ottawa Ontario. Red car drive it home full of parts, green car hopeless without lots of work but great parts....delivery could be arranged he has a big Cummins Dodge pick up....
